Brooklyn Ballet is thrilled to announce a collaboration between Phaedra,Samara, and Brooklyn Ballet's Artistic Director
Lynn Parkerson.
In Dance Arabe two middle eastern dancers and two ballet dancers perform a fantasy through theatricalized Middle Eastern dance styles. Parkerson adds a sensual ballet variation for the men that weaves through the dance. Live musicians enhance the Tchaikovsky score by overlaying it with Arabic modes and interludes created by Ramy Nasser. Samara and Kendra Dushac will be performing at 8PM Saturday and 4 PM on Sunday.
